I began making this blog back in January 2025 during my second year of university after realising I could combine the two things I care about more than anything: writing and my two little sisters who are, in fact, twins.
As the eldest, the weight of making mistakes as I’ve grown up has been nothing short of daunting. I had yearned for something like To Tell the Twins to go to for advice, little did I know I had to create it myself.
I grew up in Devon, and as you might imagine, being mixed-race in the Southwest of England was a lot to say the least. But as of now, I’m studying Creative Writing and Film close to London with hope to become a fully fledged writer someday; I mean that’s the dream, so I better had make it happen.
Alongside my writing, I’ve begun my YouTube channel and podcast where I read through and elaborate on my writing – all by the same name – To Tell the Twins.
And if you’re wondering what the wonky peace sign logo is all about, it’s inspired by my own wonky stick and poke I did on myself as a teenager. I’ve always had a message to share, even if it is tattooed on my middle finger.
